Aufgaben

Customer Engagement and Application Support

  • Act as a scientific and technical expert for customers, sales teams, supplier partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct end-user trainings on genomics, molecular biology, molecular diagnostics platforms, and complementary technologies across the Biomedica region.
  • Perform online and on-site demonstrations of instruments, technologies, and related workflows.
  • Support customers in reviewing workflows, molecular testing procedures, user techniques, and application-specific challenges.
  • Assist customers with troubleshooting related to genomics, molecular diagnostics platforms, molecular testing workflows, and complementary technologies.
  • Engage with key customers and stakeholders to understand their needs, gather feedback, and share practical insights with the sales team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Support customer visits together with sales colleagues and other internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including suppliers, distributor managers, sales teams, service teams, and customers and act as a scientific and technical interface
  • Cooperate with international Biomedica sales teams to support regional business development and customer success.
  • Participate in and support national and international congresses, roadshows, seminars, workshops, and customer events.

Profil
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Genomics, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of molecular biology, NGS, PCR techniques, and related applications.
  • Experience in bioinformatics and good general IT knowledge.
  • Previous experience as a Field Application Specialist in the biotech or life sciences industry is an advantage, but not required.
  • Ability and willingness to learn quickly and transfer knowledge effectively to customers and colleagues.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to explain complex scientific and technical topics clearly.
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, up to approximately 70%.
  • Drivers license

The gross monthly salary for this position starts at EUR 3000 (full-time) and will be discussed and agreed on an individual basis, depending on qualifications and professional experience.
